AHAHAHAAH……..it’s not an annual dinner…it should be renamed…the annual lucky draw – fullstop! How absolutely boring…poor you!

  2. asme says:

I pity the staff who endured the 3 hours lucky draw and did not get a single prize.
I also pity the organisers who actually put in a lot of work.

  3. Pink Jeans says:

Unfortunately the reality is that annual dinners are usually such a bore by themselves that the addition of a lucky draw is now de rigeur to draw in the crowds (pardon the pun).

  4. Gina says:

It’s a lucky thing that we don’t have an annual dinner – I hate dressing up.

  5. Yit Peng says:

You should be in the organising comittee……..Do it next year!!!!

  6. shorthorse says:

….either that or you could call it the ‘HITACHI’ nite… maybe next year they’ll even sponsor the event..perhaps then the entertainment element will get notched up if they bring in leggy beauties to stand beside the electrical items just like in car shows🙂

  7. asme says:

Pink Jeans – well, when the creative juices fail, the easiest way out is to have lots of prizes.

Gina – in Mentakab you do not need to dress up. Rather I had to dress down.

Yit Peng – it would be difficult to excite the crowd in this part of the world. it would be a battle in vain.

SH – if we bring in those leggy beauties, I am afraid the managers may go wild and the imam will pay a visit the next day.
